Who is Kel Fabie

TV host, magician, mentalist, standup comedian, improv comic, voiceover artist, and believe it or not, lecturer and motivational speaker. For years, Kel Fabie has been all of these and more in hundreds of events, proving himself to be a versatile talent and the consummate entertainer – as long as it doesn’t involve singing or dancing.

Name it, he’s done it, from children’s parties to corporate product launches, even proms and debuts. As a magician and mentalist, his clients include the likes of Mike Defensor, Richard Merck, Jose Mari Chan, Franchise Asia Philippines, Panasonic, Alaska, SM Supermalls, the Philippine ToyCon, My PC Buyers Guide, the World Wakeboarding Championships in CamSur, and private parties for ALL age groups.

As a former FM radio personality from 99.5 RT and WAVE 891, Kel is also a veteran in hosting circles. His hosting gigs include the WWE Smackdown press conference, Rex Navarrete, Best of Anime, the Philippine ToyCon, Cosplay Fusion, the Sony Vaio Fashion Show, the Sun Cellular Dance Showdown, the Philippine Blog Awards, to name a few.  He even hosted and conceptualized “Super Smash Quiz Night,” a weekly Quiz Night held in Hooters!

As a speaker, he has delivered lectures on a wide range of topics, from NLP to comedy to blogging to Dr. Gary Chapman’s 5 Love Languages. He has done lectures in venues such as i-Blog, DLSU, Johnson and Johnson’s, and Unilab.

Kel recently hosted “Bara-Bara: Anything Goes,” a political comedy show on PTV-4, where he became known for his soft-spoken, yet hard-hitting commentary on timely topics. It still currently airs reruns every Monday night, 8-9 PM on PTV-4. Yes, that’s before the Lotto draws.

Aside from his own TV show, Kel has also been featured on television, guesting on ABS-CBN’S “Ruffa And Ai”, GMA 7’s “Unang Hirit”, GMA News TV11’s “Sapulso” and “The Sweet Life”, and Studio 23’s “Mornings@ANC”.
